Volunteering at Liverpool Pride
Ran the Market Concession area for 2 concurrent years at the largest free pride outside of London. In 2012 I organised a market concession area including a health and well being area, young persons area and a market with over 50 traders!
In 2013 over 65,000 people attended our Superhero themed bash to have fun on our fun fair rides, large and diverse food concessions and even larger market area with 65 bookings.
Developed CRM skills to source, book and manage over 65 market traders on the day with a volunteer team for the festival. This year I was responsible for over £15000 worth of bookings for the festival raising a large part of the charities income.
This year I also was an event manager on the site acting with another team member to take responsibility for a large part of our Pier Head site. It was an exhilarating experience to know you have contributed to such an amazing day and in the future I hope to help make the festival bigger and better!
